I read your book over the holidays and then held a Style Statement group in January 2011 --- my two word statement has helped me in so many ways it's quite astonishing!
Cleaning my closet, re-doing my office and currently, redesigning my business from my niche to my business identity.

In my 2011 Business Manifesto #3 says: Measure all decisions to see if they are 80% VIBRANT and 20% BOHEMIAN. If they pass this test... I am being authentic.

thanks for this great tool!

I read this book about 3 years ago (maybe a little less than that) and the use of my two words has been integrated into my entire life. I think about them all the time when choosing clothes, deciding where to eat, and deciding how to make my personal mark on my work. An incredible tool! My style statement is "tailored sensual" :)

Thank you!

I have struggled most of my life trying to be me. I am a deeply compassionate person. For many years starting in junior high school I made my own wardrobe. I have sewn since I was 12 years old. At one point I used to buy clothes at the second hand shops, always finding something I felt was me. It was easier to find clothes in the 70's. Today I am in my early 50's. I don't feel old, but I certainly can't wear what the teenagers wear. I was raised wearing skirts and dresses. That is how I feel comfortable, pretty and a woman. I have decided to go back to sewing my own clothes as I cannot find anything I can imagine wearing or paying for. Cheap clothes look bad and don't fit. Expensive clothes are expensive. So I guess I will stick with good old fashion ingenuity and knowing what I look good and feel good in. I am going to order your workbook to do the style statement. Thank you, I receive your emails and feel your advise is positive and motivating.

I loved learning my style statement (refined adventure). I have already given away five copies of the book to friends! My style statement is something that I reflect upon whenever I am unsure of something I am facing. I tell myself "this is not to be feared...it's an adventure" or ask myself "am I ready at this time for an adventure this huge?" My style statement even freed me to let go of books that I was hanging on to, but had finished reading or using for reference. I am continually refining my house, and realized that I could let many books go back into the world. I never really thought that it would have this much influence on me.
