I’m Genuine Heritage.
My parents have both been in the hospital this week (but mainly healthy now — and home since yesterday afternoon!) and our area is preparing for all the forecasters warn will be quite the snowfall (maybe a foot, maybe more).
Using Heritage as a base is a wonderful way of constructing the weekend. My son and I will be spending the night with my parents tonight (my five-year-old’s idea of catching up from having missed them), so good talks and memories and inhaling the sweetness of the moment with one another seems fitting of honoring heritage. Adding in some hot cocoa (real, not the ready-mix variety) and a wood fire seems appropriate too.

What a wonderful idea! I ditched my regular weekend plans (cleaning, laundry, etc.) and focused on Treasuring (I’m Genuine Treasure). I scanned some old family photos and shared them with my brother. I also tracked down a friend from 20+ years ago (gotta love facebook) after reading through some letters she had written me back then.
